Agriculture & Construction

Tribotech’s polyester resin composite bushings are built for the kind of service agricultural and construction equipment actually sees in the field: dust, mud, washdown water, contaminated grease, missed lubrication intervals, and shock loading from rough terrain. Where traditional bronze bushings score the pin and gall under poor lubrication, and thermoplastics swell or creep under sustained load, Tribotech materials run dry, tolerate grit and water ingress, and hold dimensional stability through the entire service cycle. For OEMs and maintenance teams, the result is fewer scheduled greasing cycles, less pin damage, and longer intervals between rebuilds. Tribotech bushings replace bronze, steel, and thermoplastic sleeve bearings across the full pivot-and-linkage system of modern equipment, from loader and backhoe joints to combine articulation points and planter implements, without redesigning the housing or pin.

Products:

  • Pivot pin bushings
  • Hydraulic cylinder rod-end and base-end bushings
  • Strut bushings
  • Composite spherical bearings
  • Wear pads and guide strips (telescopic booms)
  • Thrust washers
  • Custom-machined parts to drawing

Typical Applications:

  • Loader, backhoe, and excavator boom and stick pivots
  • Bucket, blade, and ripper linkages
  • Hydraulic cylinder mounts (rod-end and base-end)
  • Articulation joints on wheel loaders, motor graders, and articulated tractors
  • Three-point hitch and implement linkages
  • Steering linkages and kingpin assemblies
  • Telescopic handler boom wear pads
  • Combine harvester header and feeder pivots
  • Planter, baler, mower, and sprayer joints
  • Skid steer loader arm pivots

Features:

  • Runs dry, eliminating or extending grease intervals
  • Tolerates dust, mud, grit, and water contamination
  • High shock-load capability for rough-terrain service
  • Dimensional stability in wet, dry, or dirty conditions
  • Self-lubricating, no oil or grease bleed-out
  • Reduced pin scoring and galling vs. bronze
  • Corrosion resistance against salt spray, fertilizer, and ag chemicals
  • Lightweight vs. bronze, reducing assembly weight

Oil & Gas

Tribotech bearings are used at nearly every stage of oil-and-gas production, from extraction pumps, compressors and turbo expanders to refining, transportation and storage. Self-lubricating and maintenance-free, these high-quality polyester resin blends will not swell with exposure to fluids.

With high temperature resistance, they work exceptionally well with most hydraulic fluids used throughout oil-and-gas applications. Tribotech materials exhibit high load bearing and shock-load capabilities to maintain peak performance in dry or submerged conditions.

Tribotech materials often replace thermoplastic and metallic bearings and bushings in nearly all applications.
